  • The Metric: Reach and Video Views.

2. Middle of Funnel (MOFU): The "Conversation"

  • Goal: Education and Consideration. The prospect knows who you are; now you need to prove you are the expert.
  • Content Type: Case studies, detailed “How-to” carousels on LinkedIn, or invitations to a free webinar.
  • The Metric: Engagement (Comments/Saves) and Click-throughs to your website.

3. Bottom of Funnel (BOFU): The "Closing"

  • Goal: Conversion. This is the “Ask.”
  • Content Type: Direct-response ads, limited-time consultations, or “Request a Quote” forms.
  • The Metric: Cost Per Lead (CPL) and Total Conversions.

Example: A LinkedIn Lead Gen ad: “Book a Free 30-Minute Packaging Audit for your 2026 Product Line.”

Why the Funnel is Mandatory for 2026

In an age of AI-driven search and high competition, customers are more cautious. They want to be “helped,” not “sold to.” By moving a lead through this funnel, you build enough trust so that by the time they reach the “Bottom,” the sale is already 90% closed.
